TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE: New Live Clip Posted Online

January 1, 2008

TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE, the band featuring RIGOR MORTIS vocalist Bruce Corbitt, GAMMACIDE guitarists Rick Perry and Scott Shelby, GAMMACIDE/DEVILFIST bassist Alan Bovee and DEMONSEED drummer Joe Gonzalez, has issued the following update:

"12 Pound Productions has been filming everything TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE has been doing for the last two months for a future DVD. Rehearsals, recording in the studio, live shows, numerous interviews etc. They just added a sample of one of our live shows on YouTube. [Watch the clip below.]

"This is from our performance at the Death By Decibels show at the Ridglea Theater in Ft. Worth on December 9. This is one of our new originals that will be on the CD and DVD. We were on the second stage and didn't have any room to move around as much as we like to, but I thought some of you might be interested in what TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE is all about."

TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE was originally formed in 2006 for a one-time performance to play a benefit show for HAMMER WITCH bassist/vocalist Wayne Abney. Abney had suffered a near-fatal motorcycle accident in August 2006. TMA's performance for the benefit included special guest members from some of Dallas/Ft. Worth's original thrash bands... GAMMACIDE, RIGOR MORTIS, ROTTING CORPSE and HAMMER WITCH. After the benefit, some of the core members that made up TMA decided to make it a real band.
