TESTAMENT: New Video Interview Available

HeavyMetalSource.com conducted an interview with veteran San Francisco Bay Area thrashers TESTAMENT on August 15, 2008 at The Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Watch the eight-minute chat below.

As previously reported, TESTAMENT will be direct support for CHILDREN OF BODOM on October 9 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Also appearing on the bill are BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.

TESTAMENT was honored with the "Album of the Year" Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for its latest album, "The Formation of Damnation". TESTAMENT beat out the other worthy contenders in this category: ATREYU, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, CHILDREN OF BODOM and DOWN.

"The Formation of Damnation" debuted at #59 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and is TESTAMENT's highest-charting release in the band's 24-year history. The album also dominated at radio, holding the #1 spot on both CMJ and FMQB for several consecutive weeks.
