TESLA Guitarist SKEOCH To Sit Out Tour, Temporary Replacement Announced

May 13, 2006

TESLA guitarist Tommy Skeoch will be sitting out the band's summer tour after recently welcoming a new baby boy with his wife. Dave Rude, who is from the San Francsco are and has been playing with TESLA's Frank Hannon in the FRANK HANNON BAND for the last few months, has been recruited as Skeoch's replacement for the upcoming dates.

TESLA recently hired their former Geffen Records A&R guy Tom Zutaut as their new manager. The band are currently working on a new box set and a covers CD.

TESLA's first collection of new material since 1994's "Bust a Nut", "Into the Now" sold 30,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week of release back in March 2004 to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 31.
