TERRORFEST 2006 Details Announced

Terror Establishment Inc. has announced it will present its annual Terrorfest event on July 14 through July 16, 2006, at The Reverb, Kathedral and The Funhaus in the heart of downtown Toronto, ON.

The second annual event is scheduled to be Toronto's largest heavy metal festival this year, with over 75 signed and unsigned international acts scheduled to appear over the three-day weekend. Attendance is expected to top over 1,800 people, with thousands more to be reached through broadcast, print and online advertising.

The bands will perform on three stages — two within The Big Bop (651 Queen Street West, Toronto) and the third located at The Funhaus (526 Queen St West, Toronto). Atop the list of performers are: DEAD TO FALL (Victory Records),THE ANTI-DOCTRINE (Roadrunner Records Germany),CURSED (Goodfellow Records),HELL WITHIN (Lifeforce Records),THE GORGEOUS (Distort Entertainment),NEURAXIS (Century Media),CLOSED CASKET FUNERAL (Resound Grind/Century Media),ION DISSONANCE (Abacus Recordings),SWORN ENEMY (Abacus Recordings),THE END (Relapse Records),FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW (Metal Blade Records),DESPISED ICON (Century Media),and many more.

Terrorfest was launched in 2005 to showcase international acts; this year's event is scheduled to rival other international metal festivals. Tickets can now be purchased at Culture Rising in Streetsville, with more locations to be added soon.

Terrorfest 2006 will be filmed and edited for DVD production and distribution. A fall release is expected.
