TEMPLE OF BLOOD Cover DEADLY BLESSING Classic For Debut Album

October 23, 2004

Christian thrash/power metal band TEMPLE OF BLOOD have recorded a cover version of the DEADLY BLESSING classic "Deliver Us From Evil" with vocals provided by DEADLY BLESSING's own legendary vocalist Ski.

Commented the band: "The recording went exceptionally well and Ski blew us away with his vocal prowess and sheer power. It was a surreal experience to have the opportunity to meet him and hear his characteristic vocal style over our playing. Much more important that just mere music however, was the spiritual uplifting that Ski brought to the band this weekend. Ski is a man of great faith and he is bold in proclaiming his love for Jesus. You couldn't ask for anyone to be a nicer human being. TEMPLE OF BLOOD would like to sincerely thank Ski for flying in and taking a weekend away from his family to record this song for us and to encourage us as brothers in Christ. We wish you the best with the reformed DEADLY BLESSING, your new Christian metal band THY BLESSING, and all your musical projects. God bless you Ski!"

TEMPLE OF BLOOD's version of "Deliver Us From Evil" will be available on the group's debut album, "Prepare for the Judgement of Mankind". A sample of the recording can be heard at this location.
