TED NUGENT To Be Honored At ATV EXPO '04 & WORLD'S FAIR

October 15, 2004

Missy Baxter of The Courier-Journal is reporting that Ted Nugent will be signing autographs at the show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ATV Expo '04 & World's Fair, an outdoor sports trade show running through Sunday at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Lousville. Nugent also will be the guest of honor during a special banquet at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 15) in the center's Cascade Ballroom. The rocker, who drives an all terrain vehicle during his renowned bow hunting excursions, will be receiving the First Annual ATV Image Award from ATV-Industry magazine.

"Anyone who has ever used their ATV to access a hunting area knows who Ted Nugent is," said Rick Campbell, the show's producer and publisher of ATV-Industry magazine. "Besides being an excellent role model for other hunters, Mr. Nugent is an American hunting legend ... and an icon to those who hunt with their ATVs."

Along with being a three-time NRA board member, Nugent is a dedicated conservationalist. He recently released a new hunting/camping DVD, "Spirit of the Wild". His other recent projects have included a USO tour and encouraging voter registration through the Get Out the Vote campaign.
