TANKARD: New York City Show Cancelled

Long-running Frankfurt, Germany-based thrash metallers TANKARD have cancelled their previously announced March 9 concert at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City. No reason was given for the cancellation.

TANKARD last summer released "Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers", a collection of re-recorded versions of the band's biggest "hits" — from "(Empty) Tankard" and "Chemical Invasion" to "The Morning After" and "Space Beer". A special limited first edition included the bonus CD "A Tribute to Tankard", featuring cover versions of 18 TANKARD songs performed by such artists as SACRED STEEL, MANTICORA, ABANDONED, PARADOX, COURAGEOUS and SCORNAGE.

The MetalList webzine has uploaded video footage of TANKARD's performance at the Oktobierfest in Moscow, Russia on October 13, 2007. Watch the clip below.
