TANKARD: New Album To Be Released As Double Digibook Featuring BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Footage

German thrashers TANKARD will release their 13th studio album, "Thirst", on December 19 via AFM Records. According to the band, the LP will be made available "in a couple of different versions — regular jewel case version, double digibook with a 40-minute documentary from the Bang Your Head!!! festival plus our latest videoclip 'Stay Thirsty!' on a bonus DVD and on vinyl."

"Thirst" was recorded at Stage One Studio in Bühne, Germany.

TANKARD in 2007 released "Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers", a collection of re-recorded versions of the band's biggest "hits" — from "(Empty) Tankard" and "Chemical Invasion" to "The Morning After" and "Space Beer". A special limited first edition included the bonus CD "A Tribute to Tankard", featuring cover versions of 18 TANKARD songs performed by such artists as SACRED STEEL, MANTICORA, ABANDONED, PARADOX, COURAGEOUS and SCORNAGE.
