TANKARD: Footage From Slovenia's METALCAMP Festival Available

Fan-filmed video footage of German thrashers TANKARD' performance at this year's Metalcamp festival, which was held July 3-9, 2008 in Tolmin, Slovenia, can be viewed below (clips uploaded by YouTube user "pulpulfolker").

TANKARD will enter Stage One Studio in Bühne, Germany in August to begin recording its 13th studio album, "Thirst", for a December 19 release via AFM Records.

As previously reported, TANKARD will contribute a brand new song to the third CD compilation of their beloved football (soccer) team SG Eintracht Frankfurt. This sampler should be out during the fall.

TANKARD last summer released "Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers", a collection of re-recorded versions of the band's biggest "hits" — from "(Empty) Tankard" and "Chemical Invasion" to "The Morning After" and "Space Beer". A special limited first edition included the bonus CD "A Tribute to Tankard", featuring cover versions of 18 TANKARD songs performed by such artists as SACRED STEEL, MANTICORA, ABANDONED, PARADOX, COURAGEOUS and SCORNAGE.
