TANK Frontman Records Demo Versions Of 'Sturmpanzer' Album Tracks

According to a posting on the TANK "This Means War"web site, TANK bassist/vocalist Algy Ward was in the studio on July 5 recording five demo backing tracks for the group's upcoming album, "Sturmpanzer": "Sturmpanzer", "Baghdad City", "Before the Eyes of the World", "Remember" and the STATUS QUO cover "Tune to the Music".

The follow-up to 2002's "Still At War" (Zoom Club Records),"Sturmpanzer" will tentatively contain the following tracks:

04. Lianne's Crying
05. We Are The Dead
06. Four "O" Below Zero
07. Which Part Of Fuck Off Don't You Understand
08. Remember
09. The War Machine Don't Stop

11. Healing The Wounds...
12. The Hunger
13. 45 Summers

TANK will release a vinyl version of the "War of Attrition" live album in a limited edition of 500 copies via Maniacal Records later in the year. The release will be a double gatefold LP — 250 copies on white vinyl and 250 on 180-gram vinyl — featuring many old photos. There will also be an expanded-edition CD with five bonus tracks. The vinyl will contain two tracks that are not available on the CD, and the CD will have one song that is not available on the vinyl version. The bonus tracks will be "radio sessions" from 1982 and also a live recording from Lochen Pop in Holland in 1983. There will also be demo versions of two other songs — "The Man Who Never Was" and "Too Tired to Wait for Love" — and the "Filth Hounds of Hades" three-song demo.
