TANK Frontman 'Feeling Much Better'

April 14, 2004

TANK bassist/vocalist Algy Ward is feeling "much better" than he did a few weeks ago and is currently taking a break on the coast of England after visiting the hospital for several check-ups following a tumor scare earlier in the year, according to a posting on the TANK "This Means War"web site.

In a January 2004 online posting, Algy stated: "I haven't been diagnosed with a tumor as yet, but I'm waiting for the analysis, it could be a glandular problem (hopefully) the doctors don't know, but there's a lump under my skull, behind my left ear, all the same. I have had a tumor before, on my rib cage during 1995, and thankfully that one turned out to be benign, what I do know is that my hearing is in a state, and being near any noise at all is virtually unbearable, whether this is permanent, it is too soon to tell."

TANK's most recent studio album, "Still At War", was released in late 2002 through Zoom Club Records.
