T. REX: First Official Archive DVD Of TV Appearances To Arrive In April

January 16, 2006

Demon Vision has announced the April 17 release of "T. Rex On TV - A T. Rex Compendium", the first official archive DVD to compile a collection of Marc Bolan and T. REX's quintessential television appearances on French, German and U.K. television pop programs through the Seventies. This fascinating, must-have three-and-a-half-hour music archive DVD showcases five different sections that can be easily accessed in any running order. Highlights include the definitive 56-minute documentary "Dandy In The Underworld" and "It's About Me Really…. Interviews and Music", which centers on the 25-minute "Music In The Round" program recorded in late 1971, "Ten Greatest Hits" features rarely-seen performances of T. REX's most successful singles from 1971-1974 on various French, German and British television pop shows. The "Supersonic" section features over 50 minutes worth of ultra-rare clips from the fondly-remembered mid-seventies pop show and "Bolan '77" rounds up seven songs from the Granada series "Marc" that Bolan had just finished recording when he passed away. More information is available at this location.
