SYMPHONY X Guitarist Comments On GIGANTOUR

SYMPHONY X guitarist Michael Romeo has commented on the band's participation in this summer's Gigantour, a six-week trek co-headlined by MEGADETH and DREAM THEATER. Other main-stage acts are FEAR FACTORY, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and NEVERMORE. Also confirmed for the second stage are DRY KILL LOGIC.

Says Romeo: "Originally, our plans for the summer were to finish writing, and get into the studio to finish the new CD. After we rethought everything, we came to the conclusion that Gigantour was too cool of a thing to pass up.

"We want to give a big thanks to Dave Mustaine [MEGADETH] for giving us the opportunity, and a big thumbs up to Mike Portnoy [DREAM THEATER] for putting in a good word for us. Thanks guys; see you on the road!"
