SWORN ENEMY Kicks Off North American Tour With EARTH CRISIS

February 29, 2008

Queens, New York-based hardcore/metal act SWORN ENEMY kicks off the North American touring cycle for "Maniacal", co-produced by Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING) and Joey Z (LIFE OF AGONY),tonight as part of the much-anticipated EARTH CRISIS reunion tour, a month-long trek which also features TERROR, SHAI HULUD, DOWN TO NOTHING and RECON.

Lorenzo Antonucci (guitars) states: "We are proud and happy to be hitting the States again. It's been over a year and we couldn't ask to be a part of a better tour. This amazing package is just about the best thing to hit North America in along time. For all our friends and fans, you will see the tightest SWORN ENEMY show ever. We've been rehearing like crazy and making sure we will please all. Our new record is by far our best and thrashiest work yet. These songs are meant to be played live. We're focused on changing the way people perceived us in the past, and convincing them that SWORN ENEMY is a real band with the right attitude. 'Maniacal' is the proof of that.” Get your dancing shoes on because its time to mosh your face off.”

A video for the track "A Place of Solace" was recently shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, THE RED CHORD). Look for it to make its debut later this month, but in the meantime, click below to view behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot, which took place in an abandoned mental institution in the New York City area.
