SWALLOW THE SUN: U.S. Version Of Debut Album To Include CANDLEMASS Cover

October 6, 2004

Finnish melodic death/doom metallers SWALLOW THE SUN have recorded a cover of the CANDLEMASS classic "Solitude", featuring vocals by REVEREND BIZARRE's Albert Magus. "It was great working (and drinking) with [Albert], and he did an excellent job with the vocals!" SWALLOW THE SUN write on their web site. "The song will be released as a bonus track on the U.S. release of 'The Morning Never Came' and on a upcoming single from our second album."

As previously reported, SWALLOW THE SUN's debut album, "The Morning Never Came", will be released in the U.S. in early 2005 through Olympic Recordings/Century Media Records.

The album, which was issued in Europe last November through Firebox Records, was recorded at Sam's Workshop with producer Sami Kokko. Download a clip of the track "Under the Waves" in MP3 format at this location.
