SUPERJOINT RITUAL Name New Album

April 27, 2003

SUPERJOINT RITUAL, the New Orleans-based band fronted by PANTERA/DOWN singer Philip Anselmo, have set "Striking Fear Into The Enemy: A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred" as the title for their sophomore full-length effort, due in July through Sanctuary Records.

The follow-up to last year's "Use Once And Destroy", which was recorded earlier this spring, is described by guitarist Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, DOWN) as "very loud and in-your-face, making-you-want-to-bang-your-head-constantly kind of music."

Among the cuts set to appear on the effort is a song called "Destruction Of A Person".

As previously reported, SUPERJOINT RITUAL will embark on a North American tour in April/May in support of the upcoming CD.
