SUICIDE SILENCE Completes Work On New Album; Audio Available

May 22, 2007

Riverside, CA-based quintet SUICIDE SILENCE has put the finishing touches on its much-anticipated debut album, due this summer via Century Media Records. This scorching new effort was recorded with acclaimed producer John Travis (STATIC-X),while the renowned Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) handled mixing duties. The newly recorded version of the fan favorite, "Bludgeoned to Death", is now available on the band's MySpace page and is also featured on their upcoming disc.

SUICIDE SILENCE is currently annihilating crowds across the U.S. alongside BURY YOUR DEAD, STICK TO YOUR GUNS and SINCE THE FLOOD, which leads them immediately into a short Canadian stint with DEAD TO FALL and STICK TO YOUR GUNS.

Commented vocalist Mitch Lucker: "We just heard the final mix of the record amidst our current tour with BURY YOUR DEAD. The amazing combination of John Travis and Tue Madsen captured the intensity of our live show within the confines of the record, which is exactly what we were aiming for. We hope the fans enjoy the listening to the record as much as we enjoyed recording it. For now, we've uploaded a re-recorded version of the song 'Bludgeoned to Death' that will appear on the record and give everyone an idea as to what they're in for."
