Built upon layers of orchestral arrangements, psychedelic passages and rocking post rock blasting, this is "a truly dynamic release that will appeal to fans of extreme metal as well to those who enjoy edgy, dark progressive rock," according to an official press release. The CD features a "stunning" lineup, including Paul Kuhr (NOVEMBERS DOOM),JWW (AGALLOCH, ESPECIALLY LIKELY SLOTH),Tino LoSicco (EPOCH OF UNLIGHT),a special appearance by Andy Winter (WINDS) and an ensemble of strings, keyboards and folklore female vocals. Artwork for this release was conceived by Travis Smith. Download an MP3 extract at this location.

SUBTERRANEAN MASQUERADE's first recording, a cover version of the PETER MURPHY classic "Cuts You Up", featured guest appearances by Tomas Lindberg (ex-AT THE GATES, THE CROWN),Kobi Farhi of ORPHANED LAND and guitarist Dory of ETERNAL GRAY. The cover song, which was recorded in 2000, was included on a compilation CD of the same name and received rave responses worldwide.
