STRYPER: New Video Interview Posted Online

February 1, 2011

Frankie DiVita, radio personality for 96.7 KCAL Rocks, conducted an interview with Christian hard rockers STRYPER at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California as part of the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 13-16. You can now watch the chat below.

STRYPER's new covers album, "The Covering", will be released on February 15. The CD, produced by frontman Michael Sweet, is unlike any previous STRYPER recording in that it's a collection of cover songs from bands that inspired them and helped to shape their sound and musical identity, including hits from JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, LED ZEPPELIN, KANSAS and many others. "The Covering" also includes "God", a new original recording from STRYPER.

STRYPER recently released its covers of BLACK SABBATH's "Heaven And Hell" and KANSAS' "Carry On Wayward Son" via iTunes.

STRYPER is preparing to enter the studio to start work on a new project as well as tour extensively throughout 2011-2012 in support of the "The Covering". The band also recently joined forces with Union Entertainment Group (NICKELBACK, HINDER, DEFAULT, CINDERELLA, MR. BIG).
