STRATOVARIUS Replace RUNNING WILD At Sweden's GATES OF METAL Festival

STRATOVARIUS will replace RUNNING WILD on the bill of this year's Gates of Metal festival, set to be held July 31 in Hultsfred, Sweden. Other bands scheduled to appear include MORBID ANGEL, WITHIN TEMPTATION, MESHUGGAH, SONATA ARCTICA, SODOM, SENTENCED, FINNTROLL, THE STORYTELLER, DRAGONFORCE, PAGAN'S MIND, ARISE and FACEBREAKER.

The festival organizers commented on STRATOVARIUS' addition to the bill: "STRATOVARIUS is a very good band, it feels nice to have a replacement act of this size confirmed [at such] short notice. This is an exclusive appearance in more than one way. It's STRATOVARIUS' only show in Sweden this year and it might be their last show in Sweden ever. Nobody knows the future of STRATOVARIUS."
