STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, CATHEDRAL, SEVENDUST Confirmed For U.K.'s DOWNLOAD Festival

STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, CATHEDRAL, SEVENDUST, KILLING JOKE, DRAGONFORCE, 10 YEARS, SKINDRED, BLINDSIDE and EVERGREY are among the newly confirmed acts for this year's Download festival, joining headliners TOOL, METALLICA, and GUNS N' ROSES, plus dozens more.

The three-day rock festival takes place at Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England over the weekend of June 9-11.

Now in its fourth year, Download 2006 boasts one of its best lineups to date with three massive headliners, plus AVENGED SEVENFOLD, TRIVIUM, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, THE PRODIGY, KORN, DEFTONES, ALICE IN CHAINS, ARCH ENEMY, INME, and many, many more.

More bands are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, all playing over three main arenas, plus a few in the infamous skate bowl.
