STORMHAMMER: Temporary Drummer Announced

German power metallers STORMHAMMER have acquired Johannes Lang of STYGIAN SHORE as the stand-in drummer for their upcoming shows in Frauenfeld and München following the departure of Chris Widmann in August due to "personal reasons."

STORMHAMMER will perform on December 28 at the Metropolis in Munich, Germany with "special guests" CRYSTALLION. The band is also due to appear at the Storm Of Metal Festival on October 21 in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Also scheduled to perform are DARK MOOR, CRYSTAL BALL, BLACK ABYSS, SYNTHPHONIA SUPREMA and LORDREN.

STORMHAMMER's upcoming CD, tentatively titled "Bridges to Eternity", will be he group's first with singer Mike Zotter (NEVERLAND, DREAMSCAPE),who joined the band in July 2005.

STORMHAMMER released their third album, "Lord of Darkness", in May 2004 via Mausoleum Records.
