STEEVI JAIMZ BAND Planning Debut CD, DVD

August 3, 2007

After reportedly losing a legal battle with his former bandmates over the TIGERTAILZ name, vocalist Steevi Jaimz has decided to carry on in a brand new project called simply STEEVI JAIMZ BAND. Along with long-term partner in crime (and fellow former TIGERTAILZ member) Ace Finchum on drums, the pair has forged a partnership with the Swedish songwriting and production duo of Chris Laney and Anders Ringman (ZAN CLAN, CRASHDIET). Joining Steevi and Ace in the new band are Joacim Sandin (BAI BANG) on bass and Trashi Benzi (DEAD FAMOUS) and Danny Lee James on guitar.

STEEVI JAIMZ BAND recently played at the Rockhimlen festival in Sweden, where their performance was described by one reviewer as "tough, tight and insanely good!!" The group's next stop is the Z-Rock festival in Wigan on October 7 where Steevi and the guys share the bill with DOKKEN, KINGDOM COME and HOUSE OF LORDS before heading out to Norway to play the Rock the Boat festival with Y&T, DOKKEN, KINGDOM COME and ERIC MARTIN (ex-MR. BIG) on October 19. November and December should see the band putting the finishing touches to their eagerly anticipated CD as well as a compilation DVD of live performances from over the years. Both projects are scheduled for release in early 2008.
