STEEL PROPHET Name New CD

February 20, 2004

STEEL PROPHET have set "Beware" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in Europe this summer through Massacre Records. U.S., Asian and South American release dates are still pending.

"Beware" is scheduled to be recorded during March and will mark the group's first release to feature new vocalist Nadir D'Priest (ex-LONDON, D'PRIEST) and guitarist Pete Skermetta. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Heavenly", "Beware" and "Transfusion Vamp".

In other news, STEEL PROPHET have parted ways with drummer Karl Rosqvist and have replaced him with returning skinsman Kevin Cafferty (STEEL PROPHET's "Messiah" album). "Karl won't be playing on the new album as he has joined a band called THE DISCIPLES," the band write on their web site. "THE DISCIPLES have recently inked a deal with Capitol Records in the States and Karl felt it was a good opportunity. We hope it all works out for him and they sell a boatload of discs! . . . Kevin is bringing the same energy he brought to 'Messiah' that made that album a real 'fan favorite'!"

STEEL PROPHET's last studio album, 2002's "Unseen", was released through Nuclear Blast Records.
