STATIC-X: In Writing Mode

According to a posting on STATIC-X's MySpace page, the band is "currently writing a new record set for an early 2007 release! Good things come to those who wait..." No further details are currently available.

STATIC-X performed live in Las Vegas on October 26 as part of the "Saw III" release party at Rain. The band's latest album, "Start a War", came out in June 2005 via Warner Bros. Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Shadow Zone" was produced by Ulrich Wild and was the group's first release with new drummer Nick Oshiro. Early STATIC-X guitarist Koichi Fukuda — who officially rejoined the band in March 2005 — handled the programming and keyboard duties during the recording process.
