STATETROOPER Schedule One-Off U.K. Date Prior To SWEDEN ROCK Appearance

STATETROOPER, the reunited British hard rock outfit fronted by former MSG (MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP) singer Gary Barden, will be headlining a special one-off night of rock/metal on May 29 at The Boardwalk in Sheffield. Other bands on the bill include U.K. rockers DOUBLE CROSS and ROCKET, with one more band yet to be confirmed. Tickets will be on sale next week from usual outlets at £8 per ticket.

STATETROOPER boast a membership rich in NWOBHM tradition, citing credits with acts such as WEAPON, WILDFIRE and HERITAGE. The band recently made an impressive return with their Michael Voss-produced sophomore album, "The Calling" (available via the band's own CIC Records).

STATETROOPER have been confirmed for the 2005 edition of the Sweden Rock festival, set to be held June 9-11 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
