STARWOOD To Film Hollywood Show For Upcoming DVD

Los Angeles-based rock outfit STARWOOD, featuring members of the Eighties heavy metal band LIZZY BORDEN, will be filming tonight's (June 17) performance at Club Vodka (formerly The CatHouse) in Hollywood,CA for an upcoming DVD. The as-yet-untitled disc will contain the live performance from Club Vodka along with a band interview, as well as videos for "Subculture" and the previously unreleased video for "Bad Machine", off the group's debut album, "If It Ain't Broke, Break It!".

STARWOOD comprise vocalist Lizzy (Borden),guitarist Joe Steals, bassist Marten Andersson and drummer Joey Scott (Scott-Harges).

Borden and Scott were the founding members of LIZZY BORDEN, having recorded seven albums previously, commencing in 1984 with the 12" EP "Give 'Em the Axe". Steals had previously been a member of DIAMOND DOGS while Andersson has been touring with the GEORGE LYNCH band and has held a prior track record with LEGACY, JONAS HANSSON BAND and TAKARA.

STARWOOD's debut album, "If It Ain't Broke, Break It!", was released in July 2004 through Metal Blade Records.
