November 17, 2004

Los Angeles-based rock outfit STARWOOD, featuring members of the Eighties heavy metal band LIZZY BORDEN, opened for the legendary hard rock band UFO on Monday (Nov. 15) at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA. Check out pictures from Launch (all photos by Stephanie Cabral).

STARWOOD 's video for the track "Subculture" has been posted online at this location.

According to vocalist/guitarist Lizzy, who produced the recording with bandmate Joey Scott (drums and percussion/backing vocals),the song, "Subculture", is an invitation to those who will never be in the elite of society to join STARWOOD and others like them in the subculture of Hollywood.

The video mixes performance footage with scenes celebrating the Hollywood scene STARWOOD celebrates in their music. "Subculture" is just one of several tracks on "If It Ain’t Broke, Break It!" garnering nationwide airplay and favorable notices, according to a press release. Others include "All My Girlfriends Have Boyfriends", "What's Your Damage" and "Backlash".
