Los Angeles-based rock outfit STARWOOD, featuring members of the Eighties heavy metal band LIZZY BORDEN, are shooting the first video from their debut album, "If It Ain’t Broke, Break It!" According to vocalist/guitarist Lizzy, who produced the recording with bandmate Joey Scott (drums and percussion/backing vocals), the song, "Subculture", is an invitation to those who will never be in the elite of society to join STARWOOD and others like them in the subculture of Hollywood.
The video mixes performance footage with scenes celebrating the Hollywood scene STARWOOD celebrates in their music. "Subculture" is just one of several tracks on "If It Ain’t Broke, Break It!" garnering nationwide airplay and favorable notices, according to a press release. Others include "All My Girlfriends Have Boyfriends", "What's Your Damage" and "Backlash".
STARWOOD have confirmed they will begin a world tour for "If It Ain't Broke, Break It!" in their hometown — Hollywood, California — on November 15, sharing the bill at the House of Blues Sunset Strip with the legendary UFO. The next day, STARWOOD is off to the U.K. for a series of dates with VINCE NEIL.
