April 4, 2003

STAIND's upcoming Flip/Elektra album, "14 Shades of Grey", will include a limited-edition bonus DVD disc with footage of the band from throughout its career, according to Billboard. As previously reported, the disc is due May 20 and will be preceded by the single "Price to Play". The song ships to U.S. radio outlets today (April 4).

STAIND will also celebrate the new album's release by playing four free shows in major markets across the country. The group will kick off its mini-tour May 15 at Boston's Avalon, followed by shows May 17 at New York's Manhattan Center, May 20 at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre, and May 23 at Chicago's House of Blues. Tickets will be available through giveaways via local radio stations, the group's web site, and same-day in-store appearances in each city.

"14 Shades of Grey" is the follow-up to 2001's "Break the Cycle", which has sold 4.9 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
