SPIRITUS MORTIS Sign With BLACK LOTUS RECORDS

Long-running Finnish doomsters SPIRITUS MORTIS have inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records. The group's second album, "Fallen", is scheduled for release in February 2006.

Commented vocalist Vesa Lampi: "After 18 years of existence, SPIRITUS MORTIS is still alive and kicking. Charging like a herd of overweight rhinos. And now filled up with Ouzo! We are really looking forward to this co-operation with BLR, so let's spread some SM disease!"

SPIRITUS MORTIS' self-titled debut album was released in January 2004 on the now-defunct U.K. label Rage Of Achilles.
