Special 'Masters Of Horror' Edition of 'Headbanger's Ball' To Air This Weekend

Be sure to tune in to the Halloween edition of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 p.m. EST as artists from the "Masters of Horror" soundtrack take over the show. Special guest hosts will include members of NORMA JEAN, IT DIES TODAY, and Buckethead (ex-GUNS N' ROSES),as well as a few still-to-be-announced special guests!! Viewers will also be treated the world premiere of IT DIES TODAY's new "Enjoy the Silence" video, and the "We Are One" clip by Buckethead with Serj Tankian (SYSTEM OF A DOWN).

The "Masters of Horror" soundtrack is in stores now and features today's top metal, metalcore, punk, screamo and emo bands, including MUDVAYNE, Buckethead featuring SYSTEM OF A DOWN singer Serj Tankian, IN FLAMES, THURSDAY, MASTODON, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, SHADOWS FALL, RISE AGAINST and EVERY TIME I DIE.

The soundtrack serves as a companion piece to the new Showtime series "Masters of Horror", which premieres this Friday on Showtime and runs through the end of January 2006. The series features 13 chilling hour-long films directed by such top horror auteurs as John Carpenter ("Halloween"),Tope Hooper ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre"),John Landis ("An American Werewolf in London"),Don Coscarelli ("Phantasm"),Mick Garris ("The Stand"),Stuart Gordon ("Re-Animator"),William Malone ("FearDotCom"),Dario Argento ("Suspiria") and Takashi Miike ("Audition").
