SPASTIC INK: Prepare To Have Your Minds Melted!

Acclaimed San Antonio, Texas prog/tech metal triumvirate SPASTIC INK, featuring guitarist/composer Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER, GORDIAN KNOT),bassist Pete Perez (RIOT),and drummer Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, RIOT, PAINMUSEUM) have set a March 23 release date via EclecticElectric for the their long awaited sophomore album, "Ink Compatible". Japan and South East Asia will follow on April 21 where the band has signed a deal with Marquee Inc.

Joining SPASTIC INK on "Ink Compatible" are Ron Jarzombek's long-time WATCHTOWER bandmate Jason McMaster (DANGEROUS TOYS),who provides lead vocals on five tracks, Swedish vocalist Daniel Gildenlöw (PAIN OF SALVATION),guitarist Marty Friedman (MEGADETH, CACOPHONY),keyboardists Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN),Jimmy Pitts (SCHOLOMANCE, THE FRACTURED DIMENSION),and David Bagsby (XEN, PATRICK MORAZ),bassists Michael Manring (ATTENTION DEFICIT, MICHAEL HEDGES),Ray Riendeau (HALFORD, MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE),Doug Keyser (WATCHTOWER),and Sean Malone (GORDIAN KNOT, CYNIC),and drummers Jeff Eber (DYSRHYTHMIA) and David Penna (STATIC, AMPHIBIANS FROM OUTER SPACE).

The latest INK-lings have also caught the ears of none other than DREAM THEATER's Mike Portnoy who proclaimed Ron and Bobby Jarzombek "Hero of the Day" in a web site entry dated March 16, 2004, which reads:

"I've known these guys for a long time and they never cease to completely blow my mind!!!

"I've been friends with Ron since the old WATCHTOWER days back in the late 80's...they stayed at my house in NY while on tour back in 1989...and I had the 're-united' TOWER on the bill with DT back in the summer of 2000...

"I've gotten to know Bobby the past few years... Jose teched for him when he was with HALFORD for a little while...and his instructional video 'Performance and Technique' had sent me running into the woods with my tail between my legs!

"These guys are both SCARY, INSANE, SICK....and GENIUSES!
