SOULS ON 11: 'Seasons Of Wither' Video To Debut On Friday

March 9, 2011

SOULS ON 11 — the new project featuring former MEGADETH guitarist Jeff Young and one of America's true organic voices, Schascle "Twinkle" Yochim — recently shot a video for its cover version of the AEROSMITH song "Seasons Of Wither" (from the 1974 "Get Your Wings" LP). The clip was directed and edited by Evan Nesbitt ("X-Men", "Blade", "Three Kings", "Spiderman", "Godzilla", "The Perfect Storm", "The Event") during a live performance in Los Angeles and will make its online debut on Friday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. EST at www.soulson11.com.

"Seasons Of Wither" appears on Young's debut solo album, "Equilibrium", which came out in 2009. The CD was mixed by Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, JANET JACKSON, METALLICA, QUEEN, KING'S X, SKID ROW, EXTREME).

Jeff and Twinkle, along with drummer Jeff Bowders (PAUL GILBERT) and renowned bassist James Lomenzo (MEGADETH, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY)l, were recently in the studio recording analog tracks that will be released periodically throughout 2011. In addition, the duo just entered the studio with bassist Dave Filice (RICHIE KOTZEN, THE REMEMBRANDTS) to record a moving, impromptu trio rendition of THIN LIZZY's "Don't Believe A Word" in honor of legendary guitarist Gary Moore, who recently passed away. You can now listen to the song using the ReverbNation TuneWidget below (click on "Songs" tab).

A fusion of rock, blues, jazz and funk, SOULS ON 11 combines the soulful vocals of Shascle and the bluesy-shred virtuosity of Young.
