SOULFORGE: In Mixing Mode

Montreal-based band SOULFORGE are currently mixing their second album with Fred Maloney for a late 2005 release. The album was recorded with producer Jean-Fran├žois Dagenais (KATAKLYSM, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) and will feature artwork by acclaimed artist Travis Smith (ICED EARTH, KATATONIA, NEVERMORE).

On May 21, SOULFORGE will play at the Capital of Metal fest in Quebec City with LIVA, MOONLYGHT, ATHERETIC and a special headliner. Also on July 23, SOULFORGE are playing on the Xtreme Distortion Festival. This is a two-day event in Laval (15 minutes from Montreal), featuring bands like KATAKLYSM, DESPISED ICON, QUO VADIS, UNEXPECT, NEURAXIS, SHIVERDOWN, MARTYR and more.

SOULFORGE, whose debut album, 2002's "Duality", was released through Great White North Records, are currently seeking a new label home.
