SOULFLY's MARC RIZZO Announces Dates With FLAW, SWITCHED

May 10, 2007

SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo has signed with the Mustang Agency (BOBOFLEX, FLAW, SWITCHED) to book him for solo tours when SOULFLY is on break. The fruits of this union are already coming to bear with a tour alongside FLAW and SWITCHED that starts May 11 and goes to July. Confirmed dates so far:

May 11 - Ground Zero - Minneapolis, MN
May 12 - 3rd Street Live - Cedar Rapids, IA
May 13 - The Dry Bean - Madison, WI

Rizzo is putting the finishing touches on his next solo album, "The Ultimate Devotion", that will be released in the U.S. on Shrapnel Records and throughout Europe on Mascot Records later this summer.

A video clip of SOULFLY performing the SEPULTURA classic "Refuse/Resist" at the XII Festival Arte-Nativo / Viña Rock festival on April 28 at the Recinto de Festivales of Benicàssim, Spain has been posted online at YouTube.

SOULFLY is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Dark Ages", available now on Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.

SOULFLY entered a Los Angeles studio in March with producer Logan Mader (ex-MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY) to record a cover of the MARILYN MANSON song "Beautiful People" for an upcoming Kerrang! magazine compilation.
