He also reveals that the song "Corrosion Creeps" on "Dark Ages" is dedicated to late DEATH mainman Chuck Schuldiner, When asked about the possibility of a reunion with his former band, SEPULTURA, Max said, "There is a joke out there, the day SEPULTURA reunites is the day of Armageddon," before adding that he never thinks about it he just wants to continue with SOULFLY.
As previously reported, SOULFLY's video for the track "Carved Inside" has been posted online at this location (Quicktime required). The song (mp3) is the first single off the group's new album, "Dark Ages", available now on Roadrunner Records. The clip, described as "dark" and full of "fire," was filmed at a 700-year-old fortress on the shores of the Danube river in Serbia. Later in the year, a video for "Frontlines", which was filmed during the same week as "Carved Inside", will premiere as the follow-up single to "Carved Inside".
The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy", "Dark Ages" was produced by SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.
