SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SACRED REICH, THROWDOWN Confirmed For D-LOW MEMORIAL Festival

SOULFLY has issued the following update:

"The day has come for the announcement of the annual D-Low Memorial show the Cavalera familiy's yearly Arizona-based festival held in memory of Max's slain stepson, Dana Wells (article). On August 7, 2008, the 12th annual D-Low Memorial Festival will be held at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona. So far, the bands scheduled to perform include SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SACRED REICH, THROWDOWN, BURY YOUR DEAD, and INCITE.

"D-Low will be SOULFLY's first performance following the release of their new album 'Conquer', which will be in stores on July 29th.

"Every year this celebration of the SOULFLY tribe has proven to be the host to some of the most memorable events for SOULFLY. Plan your trip now and come to pay respect to the ones who have already passed on, party with the tribe, and be the first to jam out to 'Conquer'!"

As previously reported, SOULFLY has hired Robert Sexton (MONDO GENERATOR, AMEN, ICED EARTH) to direct the video for the song "Unleash" the first single off the group's forthcoming album, "Conquer". The CD's cover artwork can be viewed at this location (artwork by Android).

SOULFLY members Max Cavalera (guitar/vocals),Joe Nunez (drums),Marc Rizzo (guitar),and Bobby Burns (bass) entered Porch Studio in Florida on September 12, 2007 to begin recording the band's sixth studio LP.

SOULFLY's upcoming CD will feature guest appearances by MORBID ANGEL frontman David Vincent and THROWDOWN singer Dave Peters.
