SOUL SIRKUS Begin Work On New Material

SOUL SIRKUS, the new band featuring Neal Schon (JOURNEY) on guitar, Jeff Scott Soto (TALISMAN, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on vocals, Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY) on bass and Virgil Donati (STEVE VAI, RING OF FIRE) on drums, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Word in from Jeff, he and Marco will be joining Neal on the road from time to time on this current JOURNEY tour to start writing and working on new material which will used on the next SOUL SIRKUS album. Jeff will be out this week with Neal for a few days to go over some ideas already mapped earlier this year. No update on the 'official' U.S. release of 'World Play' yet but as they're already working on new stuff, the options are limitless as to what will decided once the deal is solidified."

SOUL SIRKUS's debut album, "World Play", was released in Europe in April via Frontiers Records. As a special bonus, the entire first pressing was specially packaged in ecobook edition featuring a bonus DVD containing the videos for the songs "New Position" and "Another World" plus an interview with the band and behind-the-scenes footage.
