Germany's SOLEMNITY have set "Shockwave of Steel" as the title of their third album, tentatively due in the spring of 2005. The group have written around 20 new songs for the follow-up to last year's "King of Dreams" (Remedy Records) and will record "the best of them" this winter, according to a posting on the band's web site. "There will be some big surprises for you as well, as we plan to do two cover songs as well (and one of them is sung in Russian!!!)," the band write. "In addition we [are planning on recording a] new track, 'Axe Attack', in two versions, one in English and one especially for our fans from France in French as it turned out really SORTILÈGE-like."
