SOILWORK To Tour Europe In October

July 6, 2005

SOILWORK vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"I know that there's been a lot of people asking when we'll do the next European tour… Well, all I can say that the tour is shaping up right now and will start sometime in the very beginning of October and last until the end of October. I can assure you that we'll bring some other cool bands with us as well, the bill's gonna be great!! As for Australian/South American/Japanese tours, we're still waiting for confirmations. We usually do Japan and Australia as a 'combo' and it looks like it will happen in the end of this year. And South America, don't worry — we'll make sure we cover up your beautiful continent for this album as well!! Stay tuned!"

SOILWORK are touring in support of their latest CD, "Stabbing the Drama", available now on Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Figure Number Five" was recorded at Fascination Street studios in Örebro and Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO).

SOILWORK have been confirmed for the 10th edition of Ozzfest beginning on July 15 in Boston, Massachusetts.
