SOCIETY 1 Begin Recording New Album

June 7, 2004

SOCIETY 1 will enter NRG Studios in North Hollywood, Ca. on June 13 to begin recording their second, as-yet-untitled Earache album.

Having worked with SOCIETY 1 on their Earache debut, "Exit Through Fear", engineer/producer Wade Norton (STATIC-X, ORGY) will be returning to engineer and co-produce the new album. After laying down the basic instrumental tracks at NRG, SOCIETY 1 plan to hit several other L.A.-area studios to record vocals and overdubs.

SOCIETY 1 frontman Matt "The Lord" Zane had this to say about the follow-up to "Exit Through Fear":

"I love the fact that we are recording yet another SOCIETY 1 album that will ultimately lead to confusion, disgust and pure anger. I feel as if I am a thorn dipped in poison that has somehow found its way into the skin of the dumbfounded masses."
