SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY Guitarist: MARTINA AXEN Has Reshaped The Way I Am Writing Music

June 15, 2004

SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY guitarist Eric Hendrikx has confirmed the departure of singer Tobey Torres and addition of former DRAIN STH drummer/SUPERFIX vocalist Martina Axen to the group's ranks.

"Tobey Torres has parted ways with SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY," Eric wrote in a statement sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "I feel fortunate to have worked with her and wish her the best in the future. Martina Axen (DRAIN STH) is now singing with SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY. She is incredibly talented and a pleasure to be around and write with. We just did a short tour with QUEENSRŸCHE and the response was amazing to the performance of both new and previous material. Martina's vocal range and capabilities have reshaped the way I am writing music for the next record. I know all the SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY fans and DRAIN Heads will be blown away by the next round of music from SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY."

Photos of SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY with Martina, taken at their May 1 show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada, can be viewed at this location.
