SLIPKNOT's JORDISON To Play With ANTHRAX?

SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison has reportedly been approached to fill in for ANTHRAX's Charlie Benante for the last couple of dates on ANTHRAX's U.S. tour while Benante and his wife await the birth of their first child. No further information is available at this time.

Remaining ANTHRAX tour dates:

Jan. 18 - Boulder, CO @ Fox Theater
Jan. 20 - San Francisco, CA @ The Pound SF Outdoors
Jan. 21 - Hollywood, CA @ The Avalon

According to a posting on ANTHRAX's official web site, Benante is scheduled to take part in two signing sessions this wekend at the 2006 Winter NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants),which takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Benante is expected to appear at the Tama booth at noon and at the Paiste booth around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22.
