SLIPKNOT Pull Out Of Germany's OFF LIMITS Festival

June 27, 2002

SLIPKNOT have cancelled their appearance at Germany's Off Limits festival after city officials in the town of Leipzig expressed concern about the potentially high noise level of the "open air" event, which was previously due to be held on August 31st at Festwiese in Leipzig and on September 1st at Georg-Melches-Stadion in Essen.

RAMMSTEIN, ANDREW WK and CLAWFINGER will still take part in the festivities, which have now been moved indoors to the Leipziger Messehalle on August 31st and Dortmunder Westfalenhalle on September 1st.

As a result of SLIPKNOT's cancellation, the ticket price for the festival has been reduced from 58 to 44 euros.
