SLIPKNOT Photography Exhibition Now Online

August 1, 2011

SLIPKNOT was the subject of a photo exhibition last month in London, England.

"Kerrang! Presents: Slipknot - A Photographic Exhibition by Paul Harries Sponsored By Relentless Energy Drink", which was held at the Strand Gallery from July 12 to July 24, featured over 60 photographs spanning Paul Harries' 12 years of unparalleled access to the Iowan metal legends. Now that the exhibition has closed, Paul has made the shots available to view online.

Attitude Clothing had the pleasure of attending a private viewing of the exhibition on July 11 and has posted a report at this location.

"SLIPKNOT is not always the easiest band to capture in the true essence of photography and also not very easy to work with in the photo environment," admitted Shawn Crahan, a.k.a. SLIPKNOT's Clown. "Paul Harries has always been able to capture the band in its true form and has also been able to put up with all our bullshit that surrounds us night and day. Look at 'the 'KNOT' as seen through the eyes of a true photographer, artist and friend."

"It has been great to be a part of the SLIPKNOT circus over the last 12 years," said Paul. "Such a visual and exciting band like this is a gift for a photographer like me, although they are often unpredictable! I am looking forward to seeing this collection of shots on display in a gallery setting."
