SLIPKNOT At' Freddy vs. Jason' Premiere In Los Angeles

August 16, 2003

SLIPKNOT attended the "Freddy vs. Jason" World Premiere at Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (August 13). Check put pictures from Wire Image (Arrivals, Red Carpet),Daily Celeb, and LFI. A previously unreleased SLIPKNOT track, "Snap", which was written and demoed in 1997 during the sessions that yielded the group's self-titled LP, appears on the film's soundtrack, as does the domestic premiere of "Inside the Cynic" from SLIPKNOT singer Corey Taylor's other band STONE SOUR.

As previously reported, SLIPKNOT recently convened with producer Rick Rubin (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, SLAYER, SYSTEM OF A DOWN) in Los Angeles to start work on the follow-up to 2001's "Iowa". Taylor calls the new material "fucking killer." SLIPKNOT's third album for Roadrunner Records is expected to drop early next year.
