SLIPKNOT Are Getting Their Asses Handed To Them By DISTURBED, Says FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH

July 16, 2008

Altitude TV has posted a four-minute video report on the July 13, 2008 Rockstar Energy Mayhem concert in Devore, California. The clip features performance footage from SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, UNDEROATH, MACHINE HEAD and BLACK TIDE, as well as interviews with DRAGONFORCE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, MACHINE HEAD, AIRBOURNE, and UNDEROATH.

Asked if any band has surprised him on the tour so far, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH drummer Jeremy Spencer stated, "We toured with DISTURBED [before], but the production was a little more scaled down then compared to this, so seeing them in that set-up, to me, they're stealing the festival, man. I love it." FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH vocalist Ivan Moody concurred: "I hate to say it, but they're [DISTURBED] handing even SLIPKNOT their ass."

Rockstar Energy Mayhem is produced by Warped founder Kevin Lyman, his partner on the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos tour John Reese, CAA's Darryl Eaton, and Jason Garner, Live Nation Chief Executive Officer of North American Music.
