SLAVIOR: Another New Song Posted Online

January 4, 2007

SLAVIOR, the new band featuring former FATES WARNING/WARLORD drummer Mark Zonder, has posted a new track, entitled "Red Road" on its MySpace page. The song comes off the group's upcoming self-titled debut album, due later in the year via Inside Out Music.

A versatile, melodic hard rock/metal act, SLAVIOR's debut album features elements familiar to Zonder's progressive metal past, but also introduces a wide array influences including reggae, hip-hop, and modern rock.

The band — whose lineup includes MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP guitarist/keyboardist Wayne Findlay and ex-TRIBE OF GYPSIES singer Gregg Analla — had originally inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records, but financial turmoil eventually caused the label to fold, leaving SLAVIOR to re-evaluate matters and come to their initial choice of labels, Inside Out.

As previously reported, Zonder will appear on the "Another State of Mind" radio show on 105.3 FM in San Diego on January 21 to promote SLAVIOR's upcoming CD.

SLAVIOR is currently searching for a seven-string guitar player for upcoming live shows. "All serious inquiries, please send to www.myspace.com/slaviorband," said Zonder. "Los Angeles- or San Diego-based preferred. You must play seven-string guitar. No exceptions, sorry."
