As previously reported, LIFE OF AGONY recently announced plans to record a new studio album, tentatively due in late 2004. The as-yet-untitled effort will mark the group's first collection of new material since 1997's "Soul Searching Sun". In the meantime, the band are playing two sold-out shows at The Downtown in Long Island, New York (190 Main Street in Farmingdale) on Wednesday, Dec. 10 and Thursday, Dec. 11. Direct support for the two shows will be BLOODSIMPLE (featuring VISION OF DISORDER members Tim Williams (vocals) and Mike Kennedy (guitar), along with ex-MEDICATION bassist Kyle Sanders and drummer Chris Hamilton). Check out live videos of LIFE OF AGONY performing "River Runs Red" (Real Media, filmed in Hamburg, Germany on Oct. 22, 2003) and "Through & Through" (Real Media, filmed in Stuttgart, Germany on Oct. 28, 2003).
